Kael has the ability to polymorph others, changing their shape temporarily to that of a small critter for up to 5 minutes. It's one of many spells in his repertoire and not something he would necessarily use often, but it still may come up (and it essentially disables the target temporarily).

If yes, do you have a preference towards the critter? from that list? nope, take your pick. the only animal Yosuke has a canon association with is a frog so anything goes.
